Compensation:
IOM is prepared to support the CT Intern with the following benefits:
 * Monthly stipend in the amount of 700 USD
 * Relocation allowance of up to 400 USD for international airfare
 * Assistance arranging accommodations in Dushanbe
 * Supporting documents for visa application procedure
 * Transportation costs incurred as result of in-country assignments
 * Transportation to and from airport upon arrival/departure

Description:
Under the direct supervision of the relevant Programme Manager, the successful candidate is expected to perform the below tasks.
 
Duties
 * Conduct capacity building needs assessment of NGO partners involved in counter-trafficking through field visits
 * Research, analyze, and draft report on reintegration assistance to victims of trafficking as practiced in Tajikistan and best practices in international cases
 * Compile success stories, best practices, and lessons learnt on key counter trafficking issues
 * Identify key improvements to monitoring and evaluation system within the CT unit
 * Prepare accurate narrative reports and proposals as necessary
 * Support IOM Mission with additional tasks as needed

Expected Outputs
 * Capacity building needs assessment identifying training needs for NGO partners
 * Research report on reintegration assistance
 * Timely and accurate activity reports
 * Monitoring and evaluation system / tools developed and improved
 * Other deliverables as assigned
 

Qualifications:

 * Currently enrolled in or completion of Master's level degree or
   above in relevant field of study
 * Experience conducting field and desk research
 * Strong analytical skills
 * Solid written and verbal communication skills
 * Previous experience living or working in a developing country preferred
 * Fluency in English required
 * Knowledge of Russian, Tajik, and/or Farsi desired
