Description:
Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a leading think tank
specializing in international affairs, seeks a creative and energetic
individual to work with the Russia and Eurasia Program’s experts and
management to advance the Program’s strategic goals. The Program
Manager will assist the Director and Deputy Director in developing,
implementing and evaluating programming, including events, publications,
and Track II activities; manage relationships with key partners in the
government, non-profit and private sectors; draft proposals, letters and
reports in support of program activities; support budgeting and
financial management; and provide research assistance to program
experts. Position reports to the Deputy Director.
Qualifications:
Successful candidate will have three years’ relevant experience,
possess proven management and organizational ability, superb oral and
written communication skills, and strong substantive knowledge of the
region. Post-graduate degree a plus. Proficiency in Russian is also
preferred. Position will be based in Washington, D.C., and require
occasional domestic and international travel.
