Description:
The Project Manager will guide and implement the Danish Refugee Council’s Durable Housing Solutions project including DRC protection and advocacy work in Georgia proper and Abkhazia, and support the overall objective of durable solutions for internally displaced persons.

• Project Management of the project including analysis, reporting and budget control
• Facilitating a collaborative process to develop procedures to guide the provision of Durable Housing Solutions in cooperation with ministerial, regional and municipal authorities.
• Support to the above mentioned authorities during implementation of developed procedures
• Monitoring of the implementation, both regarding beneficiary selection and reconstruction works
• Management of implementation team of approximately 20 national and international staff divided over several field offices
• Overall implementation of DRC Protection strategy

Qualifications:
• 5 years professional work experience in IDP or, including at least 3 years at an international level
• Strong experience of collaborative development, documentation, training  and implementation of business procedures
• Previous demonstrated skill of leading field based operations of 20 – 50 staff
• Previous experience in facilitating trainings and workshops
• Excellent analytical and strategic skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to establish effective working relations with local staff, authorities and other stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills, calm and good sense of humour
• Fluent in written and spoken English essential; knowledge of Georgian or Russian an asset
