Compensation: $35,000 to $40,000

Description:
Russian American Foundation operates a pre-professional Summer Intensive Program for youth ages 9-20 in partnership with Moscow’s Bolshoi Ballet Academy. The Program is entering its 4th season. The Program takes place in Middlebury CT (ages 9-14) and NYC (ages 14 and older). The position is based at RAF’s mid-town office, other than for travel needs, and requirements to be on location for the actual 6 weeks of the Program. ?Overseeing the marketing campaign
?Organizing the national audition tour and follow up recruitment
?Overseeing the outreach and relationship building with existing and new partners, nationally and internationally
?Educating the potential participant families on benefits on Bolshoi pedagogy
?Overseeing enrollment process prior to start of the Program
?Overseeing all Program vendors
?Overseeing the scheduling, planning and implementation of activities
?During the Program being in charge of the NY location


Qualifications:
?Serious pre-profession and/or professional ballet training
?Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
?Strong communication skills
?Strong computer/on-line skills, specifically: Microsoft Office, email, Facebook, Constant Contacts(preferred)
?Sensitivity to/appreciation of foreign cultures and general work with children
?Significant travel during the months of Jan – March, including weekends
?Non standard hours, including weekends, especially during June – August
PREFERRED: Knowledge of Russian language, experience in a professional office setting, fundraising experience
