Title: EF Country Director/EFCA Executive Director

Description:
Under
the supervision of the EFCA President, the EFCA Executive Director
directs the work of the Foundation’s office in Tajikistan.
In addition to the responsibilities enumerated below, the
Executive Director takes on any assignment as requested by the EFCA
President.
Duties
Responsible
for the overall work of the Foundation’s Tajikistan office in all of
the following areas:
Programs/Fundraising
Outreach
Grant
Program Management
Personnel
and Administration
Accounting
Qualifications:
Education:
Education should be to the level of a master's degree or equivalent,
preferably in the area of public policy, economics, or business
management, preferably from a Western university.
Experience:
Professional experience may be in business, nonprofit, or government
sectors. Previous management experience and field experience in the
former Soviet Union is required.
Other:
Fluency in written and spoken English and Russian is required; knowledge
of Tajik language is desirable. Strong computer
skills are required. The individual must give
evidence of capacity to play a leadership and decisionmaking role as the
representative of the Eurasia Foundation, as well as the ability to
live for prolonged periods in a stressful and challenging environment.
