Description:

1. MedicAlert and Safe Return Assistant must speak English and Russian
2. Present the MedicAlert and Safe Return program, Alzheimer’s Disease overview, and overview of Chapter programs and services to the Russian speaking population and do on-site registration in community agencies throughout the 5 boroughs
3. Complete registration forms either over the telephone or at health fairs
process incoming and outgoing correspondence
confirm the enrollees address and all their contact information
input data into the MedicAlert and Safe Return data base and helpline database
answer phone inquiries
work in collaboration with the New York City Police Department
4. Translate MedicAlert and Safe Return English literature and materials into Russian
5. Respond to lost and found incidents in the absence of the Safe Return Manager and/or Community Outreach Associate
6. Interpret from Russian to English to assist in care consultation
7. After hours, weekends and Holiday telephone back up as needed
8. Staff chapter events-Memory Walk and Gala

*Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Education requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a related area.
Work Experience: Minimum three years work experience in a related area.
