Description:

The Program Officer works as part of a team in the Washington DC office and coordinates implementation of Washington office activities with the Moscow-based Program Officers and Program Manager. The Program Officer contributes to a range of activities related to program administration:, information management, processing of payments, and participant travel. The Program Officer supervises staff, oversee procedures, and monitors critical issues.


Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience;
• U.S. citizenship strongly preferred;
• Two to three years experience working on international programs;
• Fluency in spoken and written Russian;
• Experience in preparing budgets and tracking and projecting expenses;
• Demonstrated ability to manage and carryout multiple tasks;
• Experience working or studying in Russia, Ukraine or other Eurasian country strongly preferred;
• Familiarity with Russian political, economic and cultural spheres;
• Effective interpersonal skills.
