Title: Executive Director of the BOTA Foundation

Description:
At this exciting time in the Foundation’s evolution
and growth, IREX and the BOTA Foundation Board of Trustees (BoT) seek a
dynamic and proven leader to guide the Foundation into the future. The
Executive Director will provide leadership and management to enhance and
promote the Foundation’s initiatives, develop and lead a dynamic
strategy, consistently achieve the Foundation’s mission and financial
objectives, and drive a collaborative process with the BoT, IREX,
implementing partners, and the Foundation staff. The Executive Director
reports both to IREX and the BOTA Foundation Board of Trustees (BoT)
and is also responsive to the supervision of the World Bank and the
three Government Parties (United States, Swiss Federation and Republic
of Kazakhstan).
Qualifications:
Knowledge of Foundation or non-profit
operations and management, organizational development and strategic
planning
10 years of work experience in child welfare or complementary international development field
10 years of high level management experience
Masters degree or higher in social welfare, education, health or complementary international development field
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop staff and teams, manage budgets and plan strategically and creatively to meet specified objectives
Demonstrated interpersonal and people management skills
Strong representational and organizational skills
Strong sense of personal integrity
Problem solving abilities
Accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential information
Ability to function professionally and effectively in verbal and written English required
Knowledge of Conditional Cash Transfer and large grants programs desirable
Russian and/or Kazakh language proficiency helpful
