The CIEE St. Petersburg Resident Director is responsible for the quality and success of the programs offered at the CIEE Study Center in St. Petersburg, Russia. The position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of in-country operations as well as for long-range planning, ongoing program evaluation, and development. The Resident Director is responsible for ensuring the highest levels of program quality and customer satisfaction. This individual must be willing to live full-time in St. Petersburg 12 months per year in order to oversee the fall, spring, and summer program sessions. The CIEE Resident Director will work closely with the CIEE Administrative Director and Resident Coordinator to ensure that the program goals are met during each semester and summer program.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Russian Language or Linguistics
- Native or near-native fluency in Russian
- 5-7 years’ professional work experience, preferably in an international education-related position
- In-depth knowledge of Russian culture, history, business practices, and academic environment
- Strong leadership skills and a commitment to customer service
- Willingness and ability to live full-time (12 months per year) in the Russian Federation.
- Preference will be given to candidates who are currently legal residents in Russia.
